The Consortium doesn't have purpose of profit and proposes, in the only and exclusive interest of the associates, to organize the producers to the senses of the Reg. EEC 2200/96 and following modifications, to program the production of the same, to valorize their products, in terms of quality and quantity and to commercialize the products of the associates assuring the maximum profitability. In the carrying out of his/her functions the Consortium will contribute to improve the concentration of the offer and to check the immission on the market of the products of the partners, pursuing, in such way, the objectives that the Community and the orientation of the politics of the OCM intend to reach.

The principal base of the Consortium is represented by the partner Fonte Verde Aziende Agricole Associate an association that has been operating in the sector of the ortofrutticolis for about one decade and that during the years he has achieved important results as it regards the development and the realized investments, becoming so a Firm among the most representative of South-oriental Sicily in the sector garden-fruit.
